How We Raise our Beef

Here at Good Dog Farms LLC we feed our cows grass/hay, haylage, and corn for a finisher.

My husband does crop farming along with our farming and us both working full time so we use the corn he either gets from his crops, or buy from another local farmer.

We buy corn round bales that the cows love from another local farmer. It is corn stalks after the corn is harvested that are rolled into a round bale of hay.

We rotationally graze them as well as give them hay as this summer was rough due to lack of rain.

We do not feed or inject them with any hormones.
